Description

You will own critical aspects of our products from initial design through full-scale production, designing and implementing manufacturing processes for motor assemblies, collaborating with hardware engineering to transition designs to volume production, and optimizing manufacturability and cost.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering
• 10+ years experience in dynamic manufacturing environments
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or NX
• Experience in developing and optimizing tooling for production lines
• Track record of introducing new products from NPI to mass production

Responsibilities

• Design and implement manufacturing processes for complete motor assemblies
• Collaborate with hardware engineering to transition motor designs from prototype to volume production
• Optimize manufacturability and cost using PFMEA and Design of Experiments
• Develop comprehensive documentation including work instructions and test procedures
• Influence product design through Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews
