You'll join Airwallex's Global Payments Team to build APIs and checkout features for a high-growth fintech unicorn. You'll design, develop, and maintain payment processing systems, collaborating across global offices. This role offers true ownership of critical payment infrastructure and a chance to work on large-scale distributed systems with real-time transaction processing.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and develop APIs and checkout features for payment scenarios
• Optimize critical components in online payment processing flow
• Troubleshoot production issues across the stack
• Collaborate with cross-domain teams and financial partners

📋 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience for senior role
• Experience designing elegant systems for the financial industry
• Strong system thinking and high-quality code writing skills
• Preference for Kotlin or modern programming languages

• Familiarity with Spring / Spring Boot
• Proficiency in HTTP protocol and RESTful specifications
• Experience with PostgreSQL / Redis / NoSQL
