You'll join Calendly's Commerce Squad to build features that drive revenue growth and a best-in-class commerce experience. You'll ship high-impact features quickly and safely, contributing to both new development and platform scaling. This role emphasizes pragmatic, scrappy execution and entrepreneurial thinking.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Collaborate within your squad to build and iterate on commerce features that drive measurable business impact.
• Contribute to platform scaling initiatives while improving reliability and performance in user critical flows.
• Meet regularly with Product and Design to define MVPs and instrument experiments that validate value quickly.
• Attend agile ceremonies to help your team plan and deliver with predictable delivery.

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience in a SaaS or technology driven environment.
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript for modern front end web development.
• Professional experience in backend engineering with Node.js, including building and maintaining scalable services and APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling for transactional systems.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience designing and consuming GraphQL APIs in production environments.
• Background in mixed stack environments, such as Node.js services interfacing with a Ruby on Rails monolithic API.
• Hands-on experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), microservices, and monolith to services modernization.
