You'll shape the visual language of Variety across digital and print platforms. You'll bring editorial stories to life through bold, sophisticated design and collaborate with editors and developers. This role offers the chance to lead major print packages and contribute to digital longform narratives.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Execute print layouts for weekly feature stories and special editions
• Drive visual direction of the weekly feature well and major print packages
• Contribute to digital longform packages and editorial verticals
• Mentor design team members and provide art direction

📋 Requirements

• 5-8+ years of design experience in media or publishing
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Strong typographic sensibility and layout skills
• Experience designing longform digital editorial packages

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience at a national entertainment, news, or lifestyle publication
• Familiarity with K4 or Woodwing
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS or basic front-end concepts
