Description
You will support the Jewellery Department in cataloguing and researching items for sales, producing catalogues (including translation between English and Chinese), and providing comprehensive client services. The role involves pre-sale and post-sale activities and requires attention to detail, research skills, and fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
Requirements
- University graduate with translation or language major preferred
- High jewellery background or GIA qualification an advantage
- Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese with excellent written skills
- Computer literate: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Strong research, organizational, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Cataloguing and researching items for sales
- Translating English catalogues into Chinese and vice versa
- Proof-reading catalogue texts and assisting with layouts and photography
- Providing exemplary client service via verbal and written communication
- Preparing condition reports and assisting in pre-sale and post-sale activities
