Description

You will manage and grow an existing book of business in freight brokerage, serve as the primary contact for clients and carriers, and ensure seamless logistics operations. This role involves client acquisition, operational coordination, and business development to drive success in a fast-paced 3PL environment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in freight brokerage
• Ability to bring your current book of business
• Proven track record of managing and growing a book of business
• Strong client-focused approach with excellent communication skills
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Bring over and expand an established book of business through networking and prospecting
• Strengthen relationships with current clients by understanding their business and transportation needs
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, carriers, shippers, and receivers to ensure seamless freight operations
• Monitor load progress and proactively resolve in-transit issues to ensure on-time delivery
• Identify new business opportunities within existing client base and through new prospects
