Description

You will design, analyze, and own combustion devices for the Archimedes engine, supporting manufacturing, test, and flight operations to advance the Neutron rocket.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
• 8+ years (Senior) or 12+ years (Principal) combustion device design experience
• In-depth knowledge of combustion, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and structural mechanics
• Understanding of design principles and manufacturing methods
• Willingness to travel

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and perform trade studies for combustion devices
• Define requirements, test and flight qualification plans
• Collaborate with interface owners for iterative product development
• Design manufacturable and cost-effective components
• Interpret test data and provide solutions for high cadence operations
