Description

In this role, you'll develop trusted safe navigation, collision avoidance, and situational awareness systems for autonomous maritime platforms. You'll implement scalable subsystems in sensor processing, perception, motion planning, and simulation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver next-generation defense capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, CS, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Proficient in C++ and/or Python
• Familiarity with autonomous vehicle hardware (radar, sonar, LIDAR, cameras)
• Knowledge of computer vision, sensor fusion, SLAM, motion planning, or machine learning
• Experience as senior perception or planning lead for a robotic system delivery

Responsibilities

• Implement trusted safe navigation, collision avoidance, and situational awareness systems
• Develop scalable sub-systems including sensor processing, perception, motion planning, health management, anomaly detection, simulation, and vehicle interfaces
• Contribute to reusable software components across product lines
• Conduct testing and validation using simulation and real-world experiment data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration and testing
