You'll own mass properties and weight & balance tools for an advanced aerospace company. Your core impact is ensuring design accuracy and integration across structures, propulsion, and avionics. You'll build automation tools and resolve system-level tradeoffs in a fast-paced environment.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Lead weight & balance tool development and automation
- Own mass properties tracking and reporting across build and test
- Manage mechanical design guidelines and CAD practices
- Support structural layout and integration with cross-functional teams
📋 Requirements
- 2–7 years of aerospace mechanical engineering experience
- Strong understanding of mass properties and aircraft design
- Experience building engineering analysis tools
- Ability to lead technical efforts and communicate across disciplines
✨ Nice to Have
- Experience with systems integration and aircraft layout
- Exposure to certification or government aerospace programs
- Programming experience in Python or MATLAB for tool automation
