Description

As a Document Support Engineer, you will develop and support document templates for insurance policies, working closely with engineers and underwriters. You'll write production-ready code, debug issues, and improve templating tools, with a growth path toward software engineering or project management.

Requirements

• Strong passion for problem solving and debugging
• Experience in at least one scripting language (Python, Go, JavaScript, etc.)
• Comfort with HTML and templating technologies (e.g., Jinja)
• Familiarity with structured data formats like JSON
• Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lifecycle of document templates across all insurance lines
• Translate insurance product requirements into reusable templates
• Develop, debug, and optimize document templates
• Write and execute test plans to maintain document quality
• Triage and resolve document-related incidents using Jira
