Description

You will help build Payoneer's monetization platform from the ground up, designing and implementing pricing and packaging engines for a global payments platform. Working end-to-end on features using modern AWS-based technologies and AI tools, you'll collaborate closely with product and other R&D teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years of backend development in Node.js, preferably with C#
• 3+ years hands-on experience with relational databases and advanced SQL
• Strong experience building SaaS/cloud-based platforms, preferably on AWS
• Solid experience with containers and Kubernetes
• Strong experience with message brokers and event-driven architectures
• Proven experience designing and building microservices in production
• Deep understanding of OOP, design patterns, and clean architecture

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product, Design/UX, DevOps, and R&D to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs for pricing, packaging, and monetization flows in Node.js and C# over SQL and MongoDB on AWS using containers and Kubernetes
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code following engineering best practices
• Integrate with message brokers (Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ) for event-driven services
• Contribute to improving CI/CD pipelines, observability, and production readiness
