💼 About This Role

You'll build the shared product systems and primitives that power Replit's core experiences, enabling product teams to ship faster and helping users build better software. You'll lead cross-team platform initiatives from 0 to 1, scaling them to millions of users. This role is ideal for a senior platform-minded web engineer who thrives in high-ownership environments.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead cross-team platform initiatives from 0 to 1 and scale them
• Build shared Agent primitives for consistency and safety
• Identify and fix performance, reliability, and observability bottlenecks
• Raise engineering bar through architecture reviews and mentorship

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Understanding of the full agentic software development stack
• Experience building and operating platform systems for other teams
• Experience with modern web stacks like TypeScript, React, Node.js, Postgres

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with distributed systems patterns (queues, caching, async processing)
• Familiarity with workflow engines (e.g. Temporal)
• Exposure to agent ecosystems (MCP-style patterns, tool integrations)
