Description

As a Senior SDET on the Query Team, you will design and maintain automated tests and frameworks for MongoDB's distributed query engine, ensuring correctness and performance. You'll collaborate closely with developers, review testing plans, and help certify test coverage for new features.

Requirements

• 5+ years in QA automation or software development with focus on test automation
• Experience with testing multi-tiered backend or distributed systems
• Proficiency in writing and maintaining test automation frameworks for large codebases
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design/architecture
• High-level proficiency in writing and optimizing complex database queries

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests and testing frameworks for the MongoDB query engine
• Collaborate with peers to ensure testability and coverage for new features
• Identify, isolate, and document bugs; work with developers on resolution
• Enhance automation framework for test coverage, execution time, and performance tooling
• Review and approve testing plans; certify test coverage for projects
