💼 About This Role

You'll create unique, memorable stories for WVEC-TV Norfolk, a TEGNA ABC affiliate. You'll report across all platforms using outstanding photography and editing to engage the community. This role combines traditional TV news with modern digital storytelling.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform authoritative live shots in breaking news situations
• Develop story ideas and mine community for sources
• Shoot, write, produce and edit content across platforms
• Use social media and digital tools to distribute content

📋 Requirements

• 1-3 years reporting experience
• Solid news judgment and communication skills
• Strong writing and production skills
• Ability to work under constant deadlines

✨ Nice to Have

• ENPS, EDIUS and Axis graphics experience
• Knowledge of Hampton Roads area
• Proven social and digital content creation ability
