You'll join Datavant's team to assign accurate medical codes for diagnoses and procedures, ensuring data quality for healthcare organizations. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Review medical records and assign accurate codes for diagnoses and procedures.
• Abstract and enter coded data for hospital statistical and reporting requirements.
• Communicate documentation improvement opportunities to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain 95% coding accuracy and meet productivity standards.

📋 Requirements

• AHIMA or AAPC certification (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, etc.).
• 2+ years of hospital coding experience.
• Proficiency in Same Day Surgery, Observation, Injections/Infusions.
• Experience with computerized encoding and abstracting software.

• 3+ years of coding experience with multispecialty coding.
• Specialization in claim edits and denials.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications and multiple facility systems.
