Description

As a Structures Technician I, you'll perform hands-on assembly of flight hardware, including drilling holes, using structural adhesives, and torquing fasteners. You'll work from jigs and tooling to meet tight tolerances, directly contributing to the fabrication of Terran R, a next-generation reusable rocket. This role is on first shift and involves collaboration across teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Experience with drilling and assembly processes
• Ability to work with tight tolerance bands
• Comfortable using jigs and tooling
• Attention to detail
• Willingness to work a 50-hour workweek with occasional overtime

Responsibilities

• Drill holes on flight hardware using appropriate tooling/jigs
• Assemble hardware using structural adhesives
• Properly torque fasteners
• Install inserts
• Work from holes with wider tolerance bands to tighter tolerance bands
