💼 About This Role

You'll own the full life cycle of GNC development at Varda, from design through flight testing. Your core impact will be performing system analyses and simulations to drive architectural decisions. This role offers the chance to work on in-space pharmaceutical manufacturing and reentry capsule technology.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement autonomous satellite attitude control and reentry algorithms
• Develop 6-DOF vehicle simulation using C++, Python and MATLAB/Simulink
• Perform Monte Carlo analysis for performance characterization
• Integrate and test GNC sensors, actuators, and software in HIL environment

📋 Requirements

• B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering, physics or related field
• 5+ years of experience or PhD with 3+ years relevant experience
• Expertise in C++/Python for aerospace simulation
• Knowledge of orbital mechanics and modeling/simulation

✨ Nice to Have

• Master's degree in engineering or physics
• Experience with spacecraft attitude determination and control
• Experience with GMAT, POST2, or similar tools
