💼 About This Role

You'll serve as the engineering backbone on the AI Research team, training and deploying production-ready models for mental health products. You'll bridge the gap between research and engineering, ensuring models remain performant and safe in a live clinical environment. This role offers the chance to shape AI-first healthcare at a rapidly growing company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end lifecycle of production models from training to deployment
• Monitor model performance post-launch and implement updates
• Champion software engineering best practices within research team
• Act as primary liaison between AI Research and Engineering teams

📋 Requirements

• PhD or MSc in STEM field (preference for PhD in CS)
• 4+ years of experience in both ML research and engineering
• Hands-on experience with LLM fine-tuning (SFT, RLHF)
• Proficiency in Python and SQL

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in fast-paced startup environments
• Familiarity with cloud-native AI infrastructure (GCP/Vertex AI or AWS/SageMaker)
• Published research in ML or NLP
