Description

In this role, you'll drive technical innovation across Beacon Software's portfolio companies by modernizing systems, building AI-powered features, and collaborating with product and leadership teams. You'll work hands-on with diverse tech stacks and have direct influence on revenue, product vision, and technical direction.

Requirements

• 5+ years as a full-stack or backend engineer in startup or high-growth environment
• Strong foundation in software engineering best practices
• Command of Python, Go, TypeScript, or Ruby
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps
• Familiarity with AI integration and LLMs

Responsibilities

• Deploy into portfolio companies to identify and deliver high-impact technical initiatives
• Analyze codebases for value creation and technical debt reduction
• Refactor and modernize existing systems using current best practices
• Build AI-powered features that drive business growth
• Architect scalable backend services and develop modern frontends
