Description

You will lead technical accounting and financial reporting at a fast-growing software company supporting the Hedera network. You'll ensure accurate, compliant financial reporting, build internal controls, drive process improvements, and partner cross-functionally to assess accounting implications of strategic decisions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of accounting experience including public accounting (Big 4 strongly preferred)
• CPA certification
• Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and technical accounting standards
• Experience leading financial reporting and close processes
• Strong experience with SOX compliance and internal controls

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting across complex transactions, ensuring alignment with U.S. GAAP
• Own and elevate financial reporting processes including monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles
• Partner cross-functionally to assess accounting implications of new initiatives, contracts, and strategic decisions
• Build and strengthen internal controls and SOX readiness
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, memos, and documentation to support external audits
