Description

You will lead mission-critical efforts across the full lifecycle of space systems, from concept to orbit and beyond. You'll define mission goals, manage system requirements, interface with customers, and drive key reviews. This role supports humanity's return to the Moon and innovative space solutions.

Requirements

• B.S./M.S./PhD in Aerospace Engineering or similar with emphasis on Systems Engineering
• 8-12 years hands-on experience in mission implementation (flight + ground systems), deep space preferred
• Deep systems-level expertise with proactive problem-solving mindset
• Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience with Cameo
• Programming proficiency (Python preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and development of system requirements for space missions
• Evaluate, test, and integrate mission concepts into functional operations
• Define mission goals, validate system performance, and lead cross-functional teams
• Work directly with customers to guide mission development from early design through launch
• Lead key system reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and contribute technical leadership to subsystem design
