You'll design and execute rigorous studies to measure how AI systems affect learning and cognitive development over time. You'll build evaluation infrastructure and work with external partners like schools and research organizations. This role combines learning science, cognitive science, and LLM evaluation to drive product improvements and inform model behavior.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and manage RCTs and field studies for learning outcomes
• Build and validate classifiers, graders, and evaluation systems
• Guide external research partners on study design and measurement
• Translate research findings into actionable product recommendations

📋 Requirements

• Strong grounding in learning science, cognitive science, or related empirical field
• Experience designing and executing RCTs or field experiments
• Technical fluency to work with data, prototype analyses, and build evaluation systems
• Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with frontier AI, big tech research, or edtech
• Familiarity with psychometrics, causal inference, or longitudinal study design
• Experience managing multi-site studies with educational institutions
