💼 About This Role

You'll architect Qonto's credit risk framework from origination to recovery as we transition into a Credit Institution. You'll have direct impact on portfolio sustainability across Europe with support from our Chief Risk Officer. You'll lead AI/ML integration in credit processes while scaling lending capabilities.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and own end-to-end credit risk framework, policies, and governance.
• Serve as second line of defense for complex credit decisions and monitoring.
• Lead portfolio monitoring, recovery, and collections strategy under IFRS 9.
• Partner with Product, Data, and Financing to assess new product risks.

📋 Requirements

• 8–12 years of credit risk experience in SME or corporate lending.
• Deep expertise in IFRS 9, CRR, and Basel regulatory requirements.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML in credit risk processes.
• Proficient in SQL and financial modeling (Python is a plus).

• Experience building credit risk frameworks from scratch.
• Background in fast-moving fintech or banking environments.
• Fluency in both French and English.
