Description

You will contribute to designing, implementing, and supporting distributed systems that scale Atlas Search, focusing on data ingestion, indexing, partitioning, and availability. Work with a collaborative team to make sound technical decisions and build systems customers love.

Requirements

• 2+ years backend software design, building, testing, and maintenance in complex codebase
• Experience with distributed systems and multithreaded applications
• Proficiency in at least one modern statically typed language (interest in Java)
• Strong verbal and written technical communication skills
• Strong ownership and growth mindset

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, implementation, and support of projects improving Atlas Search scalability
• Lead projects and own subsystems
• Provide input on team roadmap and system architecture
• Review code and project designs after 6 months
• Propose improvements to code, product, or team processes after 12 months
