Description

You will design warheads and complex ordnance systems, transitioning them from prototype to production. You will manage arena and system testing, analyze test data, and assemble/disassemble explosive test articles for the maritime domain.

Requirements

• BS or higher in mechanical, aerospace, or other engineering discipline
• 2-10 years experience as an individual contributor in mechanical design/analysis/testing of naval ordnance
• Experience with CAD tools such as NX or SolidWorks
• Test experience including data acquisition, analysis, and project coordination
• Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Design warheads and complex ordnance/munitions systems from prototype to production
• Quickly create high fidelity prototype parts and assess effectiveness via testing
• Manage arena and system testing of munitions end-to-end, including planning and safety
• Capture test video, compile data from ground/flight/UNDEX tests, and analyze results
• Assemble/disassemble explosive test articles and precision targets
