💼 About This Role

You'll develop and scale-up lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulations for nucleic acid delivery at a Flagship-backed biotech startup. Your work will directly improve the performance and manufacturability of gene therapies. This role bridges process development and early-stage R&D on next-generation LNP systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Support LNP formulation and scale-up, including mixing and encapsulation efficiency.
• Design experiments to improve LNP performance and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with teams for characterization and evaluation of LNP formulations.
• Assist with technology transfer and scale-up activities.

📋 Requirements

• PhD in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Bioengineering with 3+ years industry experience.
• Process development or scale-up experience with nanoparticle or LNP systems.
• Experience with nucleic acid formulations (mRNA, DNA) preferred.
• Familiarity with T-mixing and characterization techniques (DLS, encapsulation assays).
