You'll engage in a hands-on externship program in emergency medicine at Veterinary Emergency Group, working alongside credentialed veterinary technicians. You'll gain real-time mentoring and practice skills like triage, diagnostics, and inpatient care. This program offers immersion in a fast-paced ER environment to explore a career in emergency veterinary medicine.

📋 Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology or nursing program
• Enrolled in a course that requires externship hours or skills
• Current rabies vaccination or titer required
• Ability to stand for prolonged hours, kneel, and work on the floor

• EMT or emergency experience
• Comfort with exotics
