Description

In this role, you will provide legal counsel on procurement, EPC, and O&M matters for utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects. You'll draft and negotiate key agreements, support project teams, and work in a hybrid environment.

Requirements

• JD from a prominent law school and license to practice law
• 7+ years relevant experience at a major law firm or sophisticated in-house department
• Significant experience with construction, procurement, and O&M for utility-scale wind, solar, or battery projects
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on EPC, O&M, and procurement matters including financed projects
• Draft and negotiate EPC, O&M, turbine supply, and module supply agreements
• Counsel asset management, O&M, EPC, and procurement teams on legal issues
• Supervise outside counsel as needed
• Work with internal stakeholders to improve contracting processes
