Description

You will design, build, and refine the electrical foundation behind our automation platform, owning critical systems from concept through deployment to ensure performance, safety, and scalability across robotic welding cells and automated equipment.

Requirements

• 2-6+ years of experience designing industrial electrical systems for automated equipment
• Strong experience with SOLIDWORKS Electrical or similar ECAD tools
• Solid understanding of power distribution, circuit protection, and industrial wiring standards
• Experience with PLC hardware and industrial controls (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Delta)
• Familiarity with machine safety systems and risk assessment processes

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable electrical systems for automated equipment using SOLIDWORKS Electrical
• Develop electrical documentation packages including schematics, panel layouts, I/O lists, cable schedules, and BOMs
• Architect power distribution, grounding, and protection schemes for safety and compliance
• Specify and validate electrical components such as PLCs, power supplies, breakers, VFDs, servos, and motion systems
• Lead machine safety design, risk assessments, and support compliance with industrial safety standards
