Description

You will serve as an Oracle Banner expert at SIG, handling DBA responsibilities for the Ellucian Banner ERP, including installation, configuration, tuning, and support. You'll lead technical projects, manage multiple clients, and troubleshoot database issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Oracle DBA experience in a college/university setting with Ellucian Banner
• Hands-on experience with Banner 9 installation, configuration, and upgrades
• Experience with Degree Works, BDM, AppXtender, AppEnhancer installations and migrations
• Proficient with GIT, ESM, Application Navigator, Jenkins Agent, Ethos Identity
• Linux system administration skills including patching and scripting

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and support Ellucian Banner 9 and related tools
• Perform database tuning, security, backups, and optimization for Oracle Banner environments
• Support integrations with third-party applications like Touchnet, Cashnet, Canvas
• Provide senior technical leadership and project management for clients
• Troubleshoot database issues and user login/SSO problems
