💼 About This Role

You'll join the EventDB team to design and implement components of Axiom's custom high-performance time-series database. You'll write high-quality Go code and help maintain production systems in a global fully-remote environment. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge database design and a custom query language.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement database components for ingestion, storage, and querying
• Write high-quality Go code and review peers' code
• Maintain and improve EventDB codebase health and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

📋 Requirements

• 2+ years experience with Go programming language
• Experience with distributed systems and low-level high-performance applications
• Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Experience with code review processes and collaborative development

✨ Nice to Have

• Located in EU or ability to overlap 4 hours with CET working hours
• Experience building compilers or database systems
• Knowledge of Postgres, Kubernetes, and AWS
