💼 About This Role

You'll build and lead a new Cameras Firmware Quality group from scratch, architecting Hardware-in-the-Loop automation and defining release metrics to enable faster, more confident code shipping. Your team will own end-to-end validation of camera firmware before global deployment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Recruit, hire, and mentor a team of automation engineers and QA specialists.
• Design and build a scalable HIL test automation system from scratch.
• Oversee end-to-end quality verification of camera products prior to deployment.
• Manage physical test lab and HIL environments.
• Define test strategy, coverage metrics, and post-deployment field quality monitoring.

📋 Requirements

• Proven track record building a hardware/firmware QA team and test automation system from scratch.
• Deep domain expertise with connected IP cameras or similar video streaming IoT products.
• Hands-on automation proficiency in Python, C/C++ for embedded test frameworks.
• Extensive HIL experience designing physical test rigs with microcontrollers and networking gear.
• People management experience directly leading and scaling QA teams.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Image Quality (IQ) testing and optical lab setups.
• Experience testing Over-The-Air (OTA) update mechanisms at scale.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and integrating HIL rigs into pipelines.
