Description

You will design and build platform features end-to-end using Python, FastAPI, and SQLAlchemy. You own the full lifecycle from data model to API to deployment, working daily with MySQL and Postgres. You'll collaborate closely with the team to define what needs to be built and ship it.

Requirements

Proficiency in Python and building production systems
Experience with FastAPI or similar Python web frameworks
Strong SQL skills and database design experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment
Good communication skills for cross-team collaboration

Responsibilities

Build and ship platform features end-to-end using Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy
Maintain APIs for internal services and customer-facing endpoints
Work daily with MySQL and Postgres (schema design, queries, migrations)
Tackle production issues and build monitoring/guardrails
Proactively address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and security gaps
