💼 About This Role

You'll lead PayJoy's global compliance program across multiple jurisdictions, designing and owning the compliance framework. You will embed compliance into business processes and product development as the primary compliance partner to the executive team. This role offers the chance to build and scale a compliance function in a mission-driven fintech serving 18M+ customers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and own global compliance framework including policies and risk assessments.
• Establish and oversee independent compliance monitoring and testing programs.
• Serve as primary compliance partner to the executive team.
• Lead regulatory engagement and examination readiness.
• Develop global compliance governance, reporting, and escalation structures.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive compliance experience in fintech, financial services, or highly regulated environments.
• Bachelor of Laws degree and Master's in commerce, business administration, or related field.
• Proven experience designing and scaling compliance frameworks from the ground up.
• Deep working knowledge of global regulatory regimes including consumer protection, AML/KYC, data privacy.
