Description

You will lead the design and testing of optical systems for satellites, including Star Trackers, O-ISL terminals, and Imagers, while mentoring junior engineers and shaping test strategies to ensure mission-ready spacecraft.

Requirements

• Experience leading optical design and testing of space or similar high-reliability systems
• Expertise in opto-mechanical test equipment and calibration
• Strong understanding of optical systems and testing methodologies
• Ability to define and implement optical processes and practices
• Proven mentorship and technical leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Lead design and test of optical systems (Star Trackers, O-ISL terminals, Imagers)
• Design and maintain tooling for optical calibration of satellite systems
• Maintain and improve opto-mechanical test equipment and facilities for qualification and acceptance campaigns
• Define and implement optical design and test processes for repeatability and efficiency
• Provide technical leadership in optics and mentor junior engineers
