Description

You will design and implement core connector framework features, own the full lifecycle of the Connector SDK, debug complex distributed systems issues, and architect for scale. As a key engineer, you'll also lead through code reviews and collaborate with product and the CTO to translate market needs into technical direction.

Requirements

• 8-15+ years of software engineering building platforms, frameworks, or SDKs
• Expert-level Java/Kotlin/Scala with deep JVM understanding
• Deep experience with distributed systems (Kafka, Spark, Flink) in production
• Comfort with Modern Data Stack (Snowflake, Databricks, gRPC, GraphQL, Webhooks, CDC)
• Startup mindset and ownership of production systems

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core connector framework features (schema evolution, intelligent pagination, rate limiting, circuit breaking)
• Own full lifecycle of Connector SDK: build, document, dogfood, iterate
• Debug and fix failures across Kafka, distributed runtimes, and third-party APIs
• Build self-recovery mechanisms and intelligent error handling for real-world data
• Define technical direction for connector framework, solving N+1 integration problem
