Description

You will provide speech-language pathology services to adult and geriatric patients in their homes, conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and educating patients and families to promote health and independence.

Requirements

• Current Maryland Speech Language Pathologist license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech from ASHA or equivalent
• Solid computer skills; electronic medical records preferred
• Availability to see 5-10 clients per week Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
• Prior home care experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated territories
• Perform evaluations for speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties
• Develop and revise treatment plans based on evaluations and physician orders
• Educate and instruct patients and families in rehabilitative care
• Accurately document patient care using a touch pad tablet
