💼 About This Role

You'll lead a team of Supplier Reliability Engineers ensuring suppliers are capable and controlled for human-rated space station hardware. You'll drive supplier readiness, resolve risks, and ensure performance supports build and flight milestones. This role is critical to Vast's rapid development of next-generation space stations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a team of Supplier Reliability Engineers with clear commodity ownership
• Drive supplier readiness and resolve supplier-related risks across assigned commodities
• Implement supplier metrics, scorecards, and proactive performance management
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align supplier requirements and acceptance criteria

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
• Experience leading a team of engineers
• Experience with supplier management in aerospace, automotive, or complex hardware
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

• Experience supporting flight hardware or high-reliability products
• Familiarity with special processes like welding, machining, composites
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, or similar production validation methods
