💼 About This Role
You'll design and implement firmware and functional models for OpenAI's in-house AI accelerator, working on high-throughput, low-latency embedded software. You'll collaborate closely with hardware and software teams to bring up new platforms and shape future silicon generations.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Design and implement drivers for hardware peripherals, including AI chips.
- Design functional software models to simulate SoC uncore logic.
- Implement low-latency, high-throughput embedded SW to manage HW resources.
- Bring up and debug firmware/driver on new platforms.
📋 Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in embedded SW space.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and/or Rust.
- Experience developing high throughput, low latency, multi-threaded code.
- Experience with real time operating systems (RTOS).
✨ Nice to Have
- Knowledge of ARM architectures (e.g., AMBA).
- Experience with PCIe, Ethernet, or other high BW protocols.
- Experience with GPUs or other compute hardware.
