Description

You will lead the design, development, and validation of software for our safety-critical embedded platform at Stack AV, architecting firmware that interfaces with sensors, compute modules, and base vehicles to ensure deterministic and safe behavior for autonomous trucking.

Requirements

• Expert in C++ for embedded systems development
• Experience with safety-critical standards such as ISO 26262
• Hardware abstraction layer (HAL) and BSP development
• Multithreaded and real-time software design
• Understanding of CAN and ethernet communication protocols

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software architectures for autonomous vehicle platform
• Mentor and guide team members, conduct code reviews
• Ensure compliance with safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262)
• Coordinate tasks amongst team members
• Support vehicle testing and field deployments
