💼 About This Role

You'll lead Kraken's internal compliance function to ensure adherence to laws and regulations while enabling responsible growth for a pioneering energy technology company. You'll build and scale compliance programs that balance innovation with global regulatory expectations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own and evolve the internal compliance program, including policies and controls
• Design and implement risk-based compliance frameworks
• Lead risk committee, internal audits, and investigations
• Partner with cross-functional teams to embed compliance into operations

📋 Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in compliance, risk, legal, or regulatory roles
• Proven experience building and scaling compliance programs in high-growth environments
• Strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks (SOX, NIS, GDPR, Anti-Trust, AML)
• Ability to translate complex regulations into practical business processes

• Professional certifications (e.g., CCEP, CRCMP, CISSP)
• Law degree and extensive practice experience
