Description

As a Wind Troubleshooting Technician, you'll diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on SGRE Family 3 wind turbines, perform maintenance, crane and non-crane repairs, and design modifications. This role requires 100% travel across North America.

Requirements

• 12 months of related wind troubleshooting experience
• SBTT - Siemens Basic Technician Training (Green Profile) certified on SGRE Family 3 platforms
• Siemens-Gamesa Renewable Energy Basic Technician Training certified – Family 3 C T Gamesa Geared including C T DAC Converter training
• Ability to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet
• Ability to read schematics

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on wind turbines
• Calibrate and adjust turbine components to enhance performance
• Conduct maintenance including resolving electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic malfunctions on specific WTG models
• Diagnose problems involving wind turbine generators or control systems
• Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records
