💼 About This Role

You'll join the Tripadvisor Experiences Engineering team, building and maintaining the platform that connects travelers with experiences worldwide. You'll drive impactful projects end-to-end, from design to deployment, working on a full-stack stack with a backend focus in a remote-first, collaborative environment. This role stands out for its remote-first model with periodic in-person gatherings and daily releases that let you see your impact fast.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement backend services using Java and related technologies
• Collaborate with product managers and designers on feature requirements
• Write and maintain tests, and participate in code reviews
• Deploy code to production multiple times per week

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering
• Proficiency in Java or another object-oriented language
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Ability to work in a full-stack environment with occasional frontend work

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with React or Typescript
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or AWS
• Knowledge of GraphQL
