Description

You will lead the Design-to-Order engineering organization at a company that delivers customized switchgear solutions. You'll oversee a team of engineers, drive continuous improvement, and ensure technical excellence and on-time delivery across hundreds of concurrent projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 15+ years of progressive engineering leadership in power product manufacturing
• Proven track record leading 100+ engineers in design-to-order or engineer-to-order environments
• Deep understanding of electrical switchgear design and industry standards (IEEE/ANSI, UL, CSA, NEC, IEC)
• Experience modernizing engineering design methods and implementing PLM, CAD, and engineering data systems

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for Design Engineering organization
• Oversee execution of hundreds of concurrent customer projects
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to on-time delivery and defect-free designs
• Transform engineering workflows to standardized, repeatable solutions
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Field Service
