Description

You will build and scale Placer.ai's infrastructure, shape architecture, introduce new technologies, and improve the release pipeline by creating tools and frameworks for developers. You'll collaborate with development teams to enhance system reliability and stability, and take full ownership from design to deployment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar position
• Experience with public cloud
• 3+ years of production experience with Kubernetes
• 2+ years with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar)
• 2+ years managing databases and queues (PostgreSQL, MySQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, MongoDB, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar)

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement tools for company success
• Manage CI/CD tools and production/development environments
• Collaborate with development teams to improve system infrastructure and stability
• Develop tooling, dashboards, alerts, and response for reliability risks
• Measure and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of system resources
