Description

You will support functional checkouts of Starship/Superheavy vehicles, establish test criteria, lead hazardous testing operations, and troubleshoot hardware issues to help SpaceX achieve its goal of enabling human life on Mars.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 2+ years of project or professional experience with fluid systems
• Advanced degree in mechanical engineering preferred
• Experience creating and interpreting electrical and fluid schematics
• Hands-on build experience and familiarity with fluid/electrical system operation

Responsibilities

• Establish test criteria and pass/fail requirements for integrated vehicle checkouts
• Lead hazardous testing operations to validate vehicle build
• Perform pressurized and electrical/sensor checkouts via control console
• Troubleshoot hardware issues real-time and drive feedback
• Interface with engineering and technicians in the field
