Description

As a Field Engineer, you will install and maintain wireless networks at a large military base, troubleshoot issues independently, and serve as the primary customer interface. You'll ensure high uptime by working with technologies like fiber, cable, Wi-Fi, and LTE, and collaborate with the NOC for incident response.

Requirements

• Knowledge of wireless tech (802.11 b/g/n/ac/ax)
• Experience with Ruckus and Cisco access points and controllers
• Proficiency in switch configurations (VLANs, trunking, port settings)
• Able to pass military base background check and have valid driver's license
• Able to lift 45+ lbs and work on rooftops

Responsibilities

• Install commercial Internet circuits (fiber, cable, LTE modem, fixed wireless)
• Configure and manage switches, access points, and wireless design software
• Provide NOC-dispatched incident response and timely communication
• Perform analysis and diagnosis of complex networking problems
