You'll support US government customers using Lucidworks' search products, resolving technical issues and answering product questions. Your work ensures customer success and drives product improvements through feedback. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge search technology in a remote, collaborative environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Field incoming questions and help configure Lucidworks Fusion and its components.
  • Troubleshoot complex search issues in and around Lucene/Solr.
  • Document solutions into knowledge base articles.
  • Participate in 24/7/365 on-call rotation including weekends and holidays.

📋 Requirements

  • US Citizenship required due to government contracts.
  • 2+ years hands-on experience with Apache Lucene/Solr.
  • 3+ years professional experience in a customer-facing level 2-3 tech support role.
  • Proficiency with Java and one or more scripting languages (Python, Perl, Ruby, etc.).

✨ Nice to Have

  • BS or higher in Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS, etc.) and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with technical support CRM systems (Salesforce, Zendesk, etc.).
