Description

You will design, build, and integrate critical test systems at Rocket Lab's Stennis Space Center facility to support the Archimedes engine and Neutron launch vehicle programs. You'll collaborate with propulsion and test operations teams to develop test stand requirements and ensure facility readiness for engine testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
• 2+ years experience in rocket engine test stand or launch complex design and build
• Working knowledge of Siemens NX and Teamcenter
• Familiarity with ASME B31.1

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and integrate critical test systems for engine and vehicle testing
• Troubleshoot facility and test operations issues with technicians and engineers
• Develop maintenance protocols for facility infrastructure
• Collaborate with Archimedes and Neutron design teams to prepare and perform tests
• Work with test operators to complete design, build, installation, and checkout of facility systems
