You'll own and maintain a cloud-based data platform focused on EV repair cost intelligence and analytics, working across backend engineering, AWS infrastructure, data pipelines, and analytics systems. Your core impact will be helping insurers and automotive organisations better understand EV repair risk and pricing, with significant autonomy from day one. This role offers a lean, collaborative, and fast-moving environment where you'll improve reliability, scalability, and maintainability across a growing platform.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own and maintain cloud-based data pipelines and backend systems across the AWS stack.
• Maintain and improve the Python codebase, dependencies, and backend services.
• Support and enhance the client-facing analytics dashboard and API delivery layer.
• Perform data quality validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution across the platform.

📋 Requirements

• 2–5+ years of experience in software engineering or data engineering.
• Strong Python development experience in production environments.
• Experience with AWS cloud services including S3, Lambda, Glue, Athena, and Step Functions.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets and data transformations.
